Session 38 – Manual Therapy – Feeling for cracks in the theories and practices with Neil Langridge
So manual therapy has come up improbably the majority of our last 37 podcasts and that’s because it’s an important part of Physiotherapy’s past, present and future. Regular listeners will know that we at TPMP aren’t fans of ideological dogma, nor are we fans of blinkered nihilism so if there is a middle ground to be trodden, how does that land actually lie?
This month Jack chats to Neil Langridge about the use of manual therapy in MSK practice including the importance of skill and feel, Neil’s take on the ethical dilemmas and how the profession can move beyond the turf wars and internal divisions that still seem to be thwarting progress.
Also, Jack announces our latest Prize draw with Remedy Physio! £1000 8 day certificated course with Toby Hall is going to a TPMP Patron for free! Ridiculous generosity. Sign up details below and be sure to follow all of our social media feeds for updates.
Follow us @NeilJLangridge, @RemedyPhysio, @TPMPodcast & @Chews_Health.
