The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) have kindly sponsored session 28 and put forward Dr Val Hopwood, the clinical editor of their journal to discuss all things needling with Jack!

Jack and Val delve into Acupuncture’s proposed mechanisms of effect, its historic and current links with traditional Chinese medicine and the evidence base surrounding its use in MSK practice. Val touches on her experience as a researcher investigating acupuncture’s use following acute stroke and reveals what how widely she feels acupuncture should be used in MSK practice.
