As rheumatology clinical lead for a company known for its second opinion work, it’s fair to say that our boy Jack March has his fair share of complex diagnostic conundrums. Who better therefore to interview Stu Wildman for a long awaited deep-dive into the trendiest but most controversial topic in the industry right now; Diagnostic Ultrasound.
Jack and Stu discuss the pros and cons, the highs and lows, point of contact by Physios and referral onwards to radiology. They also touch on the validity and usefulness of DUS in detection of Red Flags which can of course open clinicians up to further difficult decisions and conversations. Once again enjoy an episode without JC’s dulcet tones but beware, he wades in at the end for a few mins of his Jerry Springer-esque final thoughts… Soz…
